SSHS 2020 FIRST ONLINE EDITION

This was the 15th edition of the Swedish Select Horse Sales and for the first time the auction was held online only. "The new format has made us work more with certain aspects of the selection process and the marketing, but we are very happy with how it all turned out and see great potential in this new format" says Lisen Bratt Fredricson, one of the founders of the company.

18 of the 19 horses where sold for an average prize of 187 000 SEK. The most expensive horse was Madame Pompadour HX (by Capre Coral RBF x Cardento) who was sold to the States for 385 000 SEK. The second most expensive horse was YouzepH (Contendro I x Kashmir van't Schuttershof) who was sold to Sweden for 320 000 SEK.

According to auction platform provider Pweb from Belgium the auction was one of the most well visited auctions held online this year with as many as up to 500 visitors online at the same time.
